These ice formations were caused by water seeping through the solid rock that juts out of the earth everywhere in the Inwood area of New York.

The images on this site represent my resolve to take and publish a good photograph daily.

My criterion for "good" in this case is something that pleases my own aesthetic sensibilities in the hope that others will find these images pleasing as well.

My choice is always governed by my own personal "X" Factor: typically something I have never seen, done, realized, or felt before that image.
